The porter was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, making the arrival experience smooth. Breakfast at Bistro 17 featured delicious homemade pastries, although the setup was somewhat chaotic, with staff not clearly communicating options like ordering eggs with vouchers. Many staff members were friendly, particularly during breakfast and at the bar, which significantly enhanced the overall experience. However, the lighting in the queen room was poor, making relaxation in the evenings difficult, and the availability of prompt service varied throughout the stay.

The hotel's location is ideal for cruise-goers, and the staff's friendliness was commendable. However, the room was quite dated, with some cleanliness issues like stained sheets, and a thin wall that let in too much noise. But the breakfast buffet was a highlight with great variety.

I had a fantastic time with my friends at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby Water Taxi and the local restaurants. We really appreciated the early check-in, allowing us to refresh before hitting the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was a great place to unwind after our activities.
Unfortunately, the lighting in the guest rooms wasn't very good, which made it a bit harder to relax and unwind in the evenings. A little upgrade in that area would go a long way.

I recently stayed at Renaissance for a business trip and had a positive experience. The room had a modern design that was both spacious and well-equipped for work needs, including a large desk and ample charging ports. The hotel staff was efficient in assisting with my presentation setup, ensuring everything was ready on time. Additionally, the on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu, featuring freshly prepared dishes that were enjoyable after a long day of meetings.
The elevators were undergoing repairs, causing some delays.

missingWrote a review on 08 Marlocation conveniencepool areaelevator inconvenience
The location offers convenient access to nearby restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area. The pool area, while located near A1A, provides a decent space to relax, even if the surroundings aren't as serene as one might hope.
The elevators were a major inconvenience, with one out of service, forcing guests to use the service elevator—definitely not the vibe for a hotel stay. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. it felt like the floors hadn't seen a vacuum in days and the furniture had stains that really shouldn't have been there. Also, the bathroom faced frequent plumbing issues, leading to frustrating moments when water pressure just would not cooperate. Additionally, breakfast management seemed disorganized, resulting in lengthy waits for both food and seating. Finding a cup of coffee in the evening? Good luck, as they only serve it in the morning. Overall, the hotel has so much potential but is struggling to pull it off seamlessly.
